This blog will be a little long... just FYI. So here is what we have done so far!

Ceci's first flight went really well. We were in the front row and she did well. Sleeping her normal and not crying at all. The second flight she slept the whole time. My parents picked us up and we went to the costa mesa house. It was so nice to be back in Cali. We went straight to bed. The next day we woke up and went to grandma Hazel's house. It was so great for her to meet Ceci. They fell in love instantly! Bren and Rol werent able to make it for lunch so a nice lunch with my parents and grandma! We drove back to CM and went to visit Bob and Marcy. Jim and Kate came by and everyone was enthralled with Ceci! We got back to CM house and saw Bren and the kiddos!

The next day was the 4th of July! We got up and went to the park. Ceci slept for almost the entire time. We all looked super cute in our 4th of July outfits! Leto liked it. I loved it. I love the happy family feeling of the 4th of July. After that we went home to get Leto's passport and went to Newport. It wasnt as crazy as the last time i went, but tonsssss of people.... young people! We couldnt get a hold of Bre because of all the people so Leto and I decided to go to a .. The Beach Ball.... we even had to wait to get in, even though it wasnt full at all. We drank for about 30 minutes then head back to meet my mom. We had hot dogs and started the fireworks as the sun went down. Ceci did great. She did not freak out at all! She is used to it. We put Ceci to bed. On the 5th we drove down to San Clemente to see Angela and Alison. That was nice but I was super sun burnt from the day before. It was great to see my friends! That night we went to an Angles game. It was a long game so we left before the 5th inning. The angels ended up winning, and I think Ceci enjoyed her first baseball game!

The next morning, July 6th we left for Vegas. It was freaking hot! We got to Vegas and checked into our awesome suites. Then we left to have our Girls Night Out! It was so much fun! We ate at a seafood buffet and then drank and gambled and went to a bar/club. It was a great sissy night! The next day we went to Circus Circus, which was right next to our hotel and had the breakfast buffet. It was yummy, but not the biggest selection... Leto and I escaped after Ceci fell asleep and we played the Hangover game and Leto $400! Awesome! We went back to our hotel and went to the pool. Ceci loved it until I dunked her under... she freaked out! We then went to NYNY and the boys left for the UFC fight. We played in the arcade a little and then ate, and headed back to the hotel. We put the kids to bed and had wine and snacks! The next day we left for the Hoover Dam.. It was unbelievably hot and we were there for about 20 minutes. Then we drove on to Laughlin. We met our parents in the lobby and went to Joe's Crab shack for dinner. The river was nice but way too hot to do anything. We got to see Dave Wade too. The next morning we went to an arcade and left for Dave Wade's house. We drove to Indio and relaxed for the rest of the day.

Tuesday the 10th Bren and I got to go out with my friends to 2 step Tuesday. It was awesome! I drank toooooo much, but it was so great to hang with my friends. Its like nothing has changed! The next morning I was hurting. We went to pump it up with the kids and then swimming at my parents. Ceci loved the pool! She had so much fun!
Also.... Ceci is moving! Not crawling yet, but its gonna happen very soon! She gets up on all 4s and goes back and forth, then lunges forward. She can get to something if you put it like 2 feet away. It is quite amazing! Ceci has adapted soooo well. She loves Patrick and laughs at him a lot! Bridget is a little jealous and wont let Ceci play with any toys, but she loves to give her kisses. Ceci loves everyone and only really cried with Rol because she was tired the first time she met him. She is really a great baby! The sleeping has been a little rough. We had her sleep in our bed some nights. Its super cute but she is all over the place and its more dificult to sleep. She is so adorable though. We put her in our bed after 7, until she falls asleep again. My dad is in love with her. She is at the perfect age for him!

Ceci turned 7 months old on Monday! The last month went really fast and that is just fine by me. That means we are even closer to going to California!

Ceci had her first Festa Junina this past weekend. Festa Junina is basically a hillbilly festival. Kids (and some adults at adult parties) dress up as caipiras, or hillbillies. Schools and churches have little carnivals and performances. It is all very cute, and because it is winter here, we enjoy some winter adult drinks such as vinho quente (a hot wine drink that is supper yummy) and quentao (a hot cachaça (brazilian rum) drink). Leto's mother bought Ceci a cute dress and we had Leto's sister Sol take some pictures. It was a cold day so we didnt stay too long at the "festa" (party), but we had a lot of fun! I can't wait until Ceci is older and can enjoy it more!

Ceci is almost up on her hands and knees. I am hoping she waits until we get to California to crawl, so my family can be involved in some of her "firsts!" I am really excited for all of the carpeted space she will have at my sister's house and my parent's house!

Ceci got her 7 month shot today, and after her second flu shot at the end of this month we wont need to have any more shots until her 1st birthday! I am very happy about this! I hate to see her face when she realizes what is happening. And that scream is heat-breaking!
