Depintor Family: Happy Mother's Day!

So far May has been a really exciting month with Ceci!

She has been rolling and rolling, almost into walls because we have so little space here!

She is also sitting on her own for as long as 2 minutes. After about 2 minutes she gets a little distracted and tips over!

She is eating VERY well! We have fed her puree apples, pears, carrots, peas and sweet potato. She loves it all except for the peas... Her father and I are not big pea lovers so maybe some of our negativity toward peas rubbed off on her... We tried our best to be positive "MMMMMmmmmm peeeeeeaaaaaasssss" but she saw right through us!

We have also been giving her formula for about a week. Thankfully she likes it (unlike juice, which she still wont drink). She was drinking a lot right before bed and my supply just couldnt keep up. Now my supply is way down... and the timing could not be better because........

Ceci's first tooth is coming through! I felt it with my finger on Friday and now we can see it a little! I can also feel it when she breastfeeds. So far she hasnt really figured out how to use it, thankfully! But I'm sure she will figure it out soon!

She is also finding her voice... and by this I mean screaming at the top of her lungs! We find this adorable, and she only does it when she is happy.

My first Mother's Day was amazing! Leto watched Ceci while I slept till 11!!! Then he made me breakfast, his yummy eggs. Then we drove to his parents house and he gave me my present, a new cell phone! Now I can take pictures of Ceci and send them to him, and he can do the same!! We had lunch at the mall with his family, minus his father who wanted to enjoy a quiet house. After lunch we left Ceci with Leto's mother and Leto and I went to a bar to watch his team, Santos, win the state championship. After that we picked up Ceci and headed home. It was a great day and what made it even better was, the next day Leto took Ceci to his parents house so I could catch up on some much needed sleep!
